Pre-registration for all Ultra Tour Monte Rosa races

Please pre-register here for our 2026 races. Good luck and we hope to welcome you in September 2026 !

We do not have a lottery or waiting lists, but we still require a simple pre-registration for all races. This is simply so that we have a check on your experience so that we are confident you will be prepared and able to enjoy this wonderful alpine environment, whatever the conditions on race day. After reviewing your experience we will notify you within 3-4 days if we are able to give you a place.

Please note that places are limited and your bib is only confirmed on receipt of your completed registration and payment.

170 km Ultra Tour 🇨🇭 & 🇮🇹 : 170 km with +11,600m ascent, starting 04.00h in Grächen on Thursday 3rd September, 2026. Finish in Grächen.
Stage Race 🇨🇭 & 🇮🇹 : 4-days, starting 06.30h in Grächen on Wednesday 2nd September 2026. Overnights in Zermatt, Gressoney-la-Trinité and Macugnaga. Original 170 km loop around the Monte Rosa! Finish in Grächen.
Mischabel 60 🇨🇭 : 63 km with +4,445m ascent, starting 04.00h in Grächen on Saturday 5th September 2026. Finish in Grächen.

Stage racers: please indicate if you are registering with a partner or friend and would like to share a room together. Otherwise we assume you are willing to share with a stranger!

Grächen Berglauf: we don’t require a pre-registration, you can register directly here until Saturday 29th August 2026!

STAGE RACE: We are sorry that registrations for the Stage Race are now closed (as of 27.01.26). If any further places become available due to cancellations we will notify all remaining pre-registered runners by email and the additional places will be filled on a first come first served basis. We are no longer taking pre-registrations for our 2026 race. Registrations for 2027 will open on October 1st. Good luck!

Required experience

170 km Ultra Tour: For the ultra tour you need to have completed a 100 mile race with more than 7000m ascent, or have sufficient mountain experience that you can convince us you have the experience required to complete the full route safely.

Stage Race: For the stage race you need to have completed a multi-stage race on mountain terrain or have completed a race of at least 42 km on hilly or mountain trails (~1500m ascent).

Mischabel 60: you need to have completed a race of at least 40 km on hilly or mountain terrain within the last five years, or the UTMR stage race.
